Mary Ruth deVou ( 1868-1949) was the daughter of James Laird deVou II and Mary Yarnall deVou of Wilmington. She was a prominent figure in the women's suffrage movement in Delaware and was also affiliated with numerous other local civic organizations, including the New Century Club, the Natural History Society of Delaware, and the local chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution. |
