Unframed, oil on canvas landscape painting by Robert Shaw (1859-1912) of a woodland scene with a small herd of cows in a creek with a rocky bank. There is no visible signature and the painting has been cut from the stretcher. There is text in ink on the back with a name and address that is mostly illegible due to old moisture damage. The only legible part is "Philadelphia." |
