Description Hand-sewn, full-length light brown linen dress with elbow length sleeves and a front closure that consists of two drawstrings at the neck and waist. The skirt is unlined and the bodice is lined with linen. It has a round neck and a pocket slit at each hip. There is also a single intact growth pleat at the hem.

Provenance According to the donor, this dress belonged to her great-grandmother, Elizabeth Hanson Robinson (1778-1853), who was a Wilmington Quaker.
