Description Shipmaster's refracting nautical telescope that consists of a long, ten-sided mahogany body with a sliding brass lens cap at one end and an adjustable brass eyepiece at the opposite end.

Provenance According to the donor, the telescope came from the Rumford family of 107 East 6th Street, Wilmington, who is said to have owned a fleet of ships.
