Description Silver tablespoon with an oval bowl and a simple, thick handle with a rounded, turned-up end. The spoon is engraved with "AL" in script on the underside of the handle. There is an image of a bird on the back of the spoon bowl.

Provenance According to the donor, the spoons originally belonged to her great-great grandmother, Ann Lea, who married Daniel Corbit in 1755. The spoons descended from Ann Lea to Mary Ann Corbit of Odessa (the donor's great-grandmother)) and then down to the donor.
