Description White porcelain Tercentenary commemorative plate with a border pattern of small diamonds and a 6" diameter central black and white transfer-printed image of the New Castle courthouse. The manufacturer's mark is printed in black on the reverse: "Spode's Mansard / Copeland / Spode / England / U.S. Patent 88,688 / Rd. No. 777.266 / Delaware Tercentenary Celebration / 1638-1938 / Old Court House, New Castle."
