Description Blue transfer-printed commemorative platter depicting Lafayette's ship "Cadmus" accompanied by the "Robert Fulton", "Chancellor" and "Livingston" coming into Castle Garden, New York on August 16, 1824. They are saluted by six salvos from the shore. There is a paper label on the base: "Lafayette Commemorative Platter. Miss Ida Green Gift Oct.25, 1948."
