Description Hand-stitched small boy's playsuit worn by Felix O.C. Darley (1822-1888). The suit is one piece with long sleeves and trouser legs and is made from sturdy cotton gingham in a vibrant pattern of vertical stripes in orange, red, blue, yellow ,and white. It has a high waistline and drop seat with six buttons (all missing) up each side and a small peplum at the waist at the back. It has a round drawstring neck with ties at the front and back. The suit might fit a child of about three to five years old.
