Description Framed silhouette of unknown woman's bust portrait facing left. The figure has her hair up in a bun and a strand of loose hair over her forehead. The 3" x 1 1/2" silhouette is cut out from paper that is mounted over a black paper background to provide contrast. There is an impressed Peale's Museum stamp under the portrait that features an eagle with spread wings over text "Peale's Museum" in banner format. The frame is black-painted wood with a gold inner frame that is decorated with gold foliage motifs.
