Black-painted slat-back side chair with splint seat: The posts and front stretchers are made from maple; the slats and stretchers are made from hickory. The chair has turned posts with ball finials and four curved back slats. The seat has two plain stretchers on each side, a single front stretcher with two ball turnings, and flattened ball feet at the front.
