Chippendale style walnut secretary with a slant -top that opens out to form a writing surface supported on two extension arms. The piece has a heavy rectangular base with scrolled bracket feet and four long drawers. The writing cabinet has eight small drawers, eight slots, and a centered small door carved with "CB 1771" behind which are two small drawers. The piece has dovetail construction and brass hardware.
