Description Round bronze 100th Anniversary commemorative medallion for the B&O Railroad. On one side: relief image of a train drawn by a larger, modern passenger locomotive that is guided by the spirit of transportation and surrounded by text: "One Hundred Years, Safety, Strength, Speed". On reverse: central image of "Tom Thumb", the first steam locomotive built in the U.S by Peter Cooper surrounded by text around the outside : "1827-1927 the Baltimore And Ohio Railroad Company".
