Description Hand-sewn, one-piece child's dress for a girl of about ten to twelve years old with long sleeves, a high, round neck, and a long, full skirt. The dress is front closing and has three hooks and eyes at the lower part nearest the waist, where there is also a 2 1/2" tab that secures with a single hook and eye (both missing). It has a cotton pocket sewn into the seam on the left side. The material is a small check pattern in dark brown and white. The skirt is unlined and the dress is very plain with no applied ornament.
