Description Wooden round molding plane with a convex sole and removable, 1 3/8" wide, angled steel blade that is held in place by a wooden wedge. One of the short ends is stamped: "Greenfield Tool Co. / Greenfield Mass" & "No. 371." The opposite short end is stamped with "16."

Provenance This item is from a collection of tools that belonged to four generations of Centerville, DE carpenters: John McCullough (1789-1863), his son, John McCullough (1825-1912), Henry McCullough (1856-1934; son of John, Jr.), and Alfred H. McCullough (1897-1971; son of Henry). All are buried in Lower Brandywine Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Owl's Nest, New Castle, Delaware.
