Description Silver punch ladle with a deep circular bowl and slightly flared upper rim. It is etched and embossed with stylized floral motifs and has a straight wooden handle with four graduated, turned bulbous forms at the far end. There is a Norwegian-minted coin from 1717 set into the floor of the bowl. The inscription reads: "Fridi--Rex Dan Nor V G". The inscription on the underside of the bowl reads: "XVI Skillin-/ Danske/ 1717 HCM" (for Henning Christofer Meyer, mint master at Kongsberg).
