Description Hand and machine-stitched one piece, full-length gold silk dress with a gold silk damask skirt and train. The skirt is elaborately embellished with ruffles and lace trim and has a flannel lining with buckram used to stiffen the skirt. The bodice is front fastening with eleven silk thread-covered buttons (one missing) and made from gold silk in two different shades. It has three-quarter length sleeves and a slight V-neck. The skirt is gathered at the back for a bustle.
