Description French Empire style mantle clock with an architectural form made from ebonized mahogany with ormolu accents and a rectangular wooden base with four flattened feet. Four free-standing columns support an entablature. The clock face is fixed in the center space between the columns and the pendulum is suspended from the back of the works. The decoration is foliate ormolu with cherub and bird accents. 1909 label of "William A. Hiene / Clocks / 1018 Farraget St. / Philadelphia" is tacked to bottom and 1825 (or 26?) is scratched on the underside of architrave.
