Description Colichemarde sword with a steel blade that is thicker at the hilt end and then tapers sharply toward the tip. The blade is peaked on one side with a wide, 25 1/2" long fuller on the reverse. The hilt is silver and decorated throughout with arabesque designs and images of clusters of weaponry. It has a small guard that consists of two 2 1/2" long silver ovals decorated with relief designs on both sides. The round, silver pommel is also decorated with similar-themed relief designs. The silver knuckle guard and quillion are small and fine. The wood grip is wrapped in twisted steel wire.
