Description Hand and machine-stitched, full-length, two piece, blue and white checked silk day dress with short sleeves and a high, round neck. The bodice is boned and back closing with twelve buttons (all present) in addition to five additional pairs of hooks and eyes near the waist. The sleeves and bottom of the bodice are trimmed with a light blue, machine-made, length of sheer gathered ribbon with a blue butterfly design. The skirt closes at the back with a single hook and eye and has a single linen pocket on the right side. The skirt also has a six inch linen kick pleat and blue wool braid trim at the hem.
