Description Hand-sewn, full-length, two piece dress made from copper colored, striped silk with three-quarter-length pagoda sleeves.The basque bodice fastens at the front with nine buttons (wood covered with silk thread). It is longer at the back and stiffened with buckram and has a bow at the center. The yoke, sleeves, and hem are trimmed with a 2 1/4" long brown knotted silk fringe. The buttonholes are edged with lavender thread that matches the thread at the center of the buttons. The skirt is unlined and has brown wool braid trim at the hem.
