Description Portrait of Queen Christina of Sweden: Three-quarters view of a young woman with curly brown hair and a very masculine face. The subject is facing sideways and to the right but turns to face the viewer. She wears a heavy satin full-length gown with large sleeves and a thin blue scarf over her shoulders. She holds a document in her right hand and the blue scarf with her left. She has a floral sprig in her hair and is shown against an architectural backdrop. Painted on the reverse of the canvas: "Cristina / Drottning Au Sverige / Efter Orig Au / David Beck / (Tillh Nationalmus Stockholm) / Cop Au Victor Lagerstrom / 1932." The frame is signed by Francis Coll.
