Description Plaster display maquette submitted as a potential design for the Delaware Tercentenary Commemorative half-dollar. The 8 1/4" diameter design stands out in raised relief against a slightly larger round plaster background and depicts a central image of old Swedes Church in Wilmington surrounded by text: "United States of America / In God We Trust / E Pluribus Unum / Half Dollar." There is a 3/4" long remarque of a key (the identifying signature of the designer according to file documentation) incised into the plaster beneath the design.
